Guided Canoe and Kayak Trips in Mass and RI

 Choose the Guided Trip from the list below that you are interested in, then click on it for more information. Reserve your trip as soon as possible. Trips reserved and prepaid before May 1st. receive a 10% discount. (This special cannot be combined with other discount rates.)

Our Guided Trips include your choice of canoes or kayaks, paddles, Life Jackets (PFD's), transportation, and A.C.A. certified guides/instructors. Some trips include beverages, food or snacks. If you have your own boat, and would like to come on our trips, or are a scout, church, or school group, you will receive a discount off the regular price. Please call us for information on the discounts available. All trips meet at our Raynham base, 407 Rt. 44 (Dean's Plaza) unless otherwise noted. If you live close to the trip location, arrangements can be made for you to meet us there. Trips always run unless the weather is extreme. Alternate trips will be arranged in some cases. We reserve the right to cancel a trip for lack of participation.

Safety

Paddle sports and all outdoor activities involve inherent risks for which you must accept responsibility. We will make every effort to provide you with a safe and enjoyable trip but you must assume responsibility for your own safety. You must wear your life vest at all times on the water. You will be required to sign a waiver and release form prior for participation in any activity. Minors must have a parent or guardian sign for them.
All our guided trips have a Level Rating. If you wish to increase your skills and level rating we suggest you take one of our Canoe or Kayak instructional classes.

TRIP RATINGS

Level 1

No previous canoe or kayak experience required.

Level 2

You should feel comfortable:
Paddling 6 miles in a day.
Performing a wet exit.
Performing an assisted deep water rescue.
Maintaining a heading for short distances without the use of a rudder.
Turning a kayak using forward and reverse sweep strokes.

Level 3

You should be able to:
Perform skills listed above.
Paddle 10 miles in a day.
Paddle in 10-15 knot winds and 2-3 foot waves.

Level 4

You should be able to:
Perform the skills listed above.
Paddle 15 miles in a day.
Paddle in 20 knot winds.

Level 5

You should be able to:
Paddle 20+ miles in a day
Paddle in 25 knot winds.
