Kayak Course
This introduction to flat water paddling for
the entire family, emphasizing safety, basic strokes, maneuvers
and equipment is ideal for the recreational paddler interested
in exploring protected lake and river environments only.

Outdoor Intermediate
Kayak Course
This popular Intermediate Flat
water course provides a safe and fun introduction to the sport
of sea kayaking. We begin with an introduction to water safety,
kayak design, related equipment and clothing. After suiting up
in our sprayskirts and P.F.D’s (Life jackets), it’s time to practice wet
exits and various self and assisted capsize recovery techniques
in beautiful, crystal clear Lake Rico. Next are strokes…… Your
American Canoe Association Certified Instructor will present
a progression of paddling strokes teaching you how to maneuver
your kayak with skill and efficiency.

Clinic
Let our experienced American Canoe Association
Certified Instructors show you the steps to learning a successful
Eskimo roll. This course is suited for people who are comfortable
with the fundamentals of kayaking and want to learn a new skill
to help boost their confidence and enhance their boat control.
