Overnight Canoe and Kayak TripsCome join us on the wild and scenic Taunton and Nemasket rivers for overnight canoeing and kayaking trips. Trips include:
RATES: Two day/ one night: Adults: $70/person, Youth 13 to 17 years: $50/person,
Child 6-12 years: $20/person Will you be arriving in a bus or van? We offer a $1.00/person Guide service: Many groups take advantage of a guide. It’s a great learning resource and maintains a better staff ratio. Our guide/instructors are ACA and Red Cross certified. Guides are $100.00/day Camp sites for these trips are Plymouth Rock KOA and Camp Titicut. The KOA is a full service camp ground with swimming pool, camp store, and showers. Tent sites or Kamping Kabins are available. For reservations call 800-562-3046. Camp Titicut is a natural wooded site once used by the Wampanoag Indians. It has no facilities, only sites with fire rings. There is no charge for its use, however a permit is required from the Bridgewater Conservation. (Call 508-697-0907) Longer trips are possible as the Taunton river is part of the Wampanoag Canoe Passage which starts on the North River in Scituate and continues to Dighton Rock State Park
