Day Trips

As the number of paddlers increases so does the chance of the unexpected. If you are an experienced outdoors person, but inexperienced in leading a group in canoes and kayaks, contact us early in your planning. If your trip is a youth trip, be sure to have enough adults to ensure a safe adult to youth ratio. We are happy to provide tips and check lists that will help you put together the details of your trip. Many groups take advantage of a guide... It’s a great learning resource and maintains a better staff ratio. For help in planning the route, feel free to consult our interactive map of the Taunton River

Be sure to have your release forms either mailed in with your trip confirmation forms or bring them with you the day of your trip. Plan your schedule and arrival time to allow 1/2 hour for orientation and sign in.

What to wear:

Overnight Trips

Overnight trips require more planning than the day trips especially if it is an unguided trip. Our Camping checklist will be very helpful, just print it out and check the items off as you add them to your packs. If you are taking a guided overnight trip, our staff will take care of providing everything except your sleeping bag and personal items.

If you plan to camp at Plymouth Rock KOA, you will need to make reservations.( 1-800-562-3046) If you plan to camp at Camp Titicut you will need a permit from the Bridgewater Conservation (508-697-0907). Plymouth Rock KOA charges for their tent sites, Camp Titicut is free. Check our map to plan your trip and decide on a camp site.
